Town and Country magazine defines the Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus as one of “19 Boarding Schools That Look More Like Relais & Chateaux Properties Than High School Campuses.” With the St. Johns River as its backdrop and sprawling green lawns, the 52-acre campus certainly lives up to this account. The centerpiece of campus is Bolles Hall, built in 1925 as the San Jose Hotel and reinvigorated in 1933 as The Bolles School. Today, more than 800 students attend day classes on the multi-building campus, including up to 90 boarding students who come to live and study at Bolles from all over the world.
